Please welcome Greg Branish to our community!

Greg has a great book for calibrating EFI called "Engine Management Advanced Tuning". which is a great read, I've read it cover to cover a few times and it's WELL WORTH the 24 dollars!

He offeres advanced EFI Calibration Training courses as well more information is available on his website

http://www.calibratedsuccess.com/

He often posts on the SCT forums under the same username, and since SCT shut their forums down I've invited Greg to come over here and check out our Mark 8 community.

I dont know if greg will start posting soon or if he'll spend some time "reviewing" our site to find a place to "jump in".

But rest assured, IF he posts something you are guaranteed to learn something, even if you learn that your doing it WRONG..HAHA

Please welcome Greg to our little corner of the internet.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the warm welcome. I'll be the first to apologize for my sporadic attendance since it's impossible to "babysit" every possible thread on a single forum, let alone spreading it across multiple forums of varying interests.

Admittedly, this forum has a rather narrow focus, but I encourage people interested in learning about engines and tuning to check out other boards (even other *gasp* BRANDS of manufacturers' boards) to get more info. You'll find that much of what works on a Honda/BMW/Chevy also applies (in general) to your Lincolns here.

In the mean time, I'll try to push people in the right direction where I can.

(even other *gasp* BRANDS of manufacturers' boards).

suck,crush,bang,blow
applies to apples AND oranges
HAHA

Thanks for stopping by Greg, if you get bored drop by and check on us from time to time.

If you see a homeless looking dude outside your upcoming training class in Texas, that's just me.. I'm gonna listen thru the door from outside.

Welcome Greg. So what do you drive? Just curious. Everyone's welcome here, although most of us have an admitted love of Lincolns.

So what do you drive?
I'm currently driving my snow/tow vehicle, a 2001 Silverado. My summer ride is a turbocharged BMW M3.

On track I pilot a 1993 Mustang LX that's built to the NASA American Iron spec. I've owned this car for over a decade and it has previously been a feature car in MMFF magazine when it was a single turbo street car. It's now gutted like a fish with a serious cage, 331 stroker, and 5 link suspension.

Welcome Greg!:)

I'm looking forward to hearing more about the calibrations of different cars. It looks like it's getting easier for the do it yourself people to do it themselves..:)

Welcome Greg. .
Hey Sharon, after I read Gregs book.. I asked him if he'd ever calibrated one of these mark 8's and he said he'd done a few including a supercharged one.

So immediately I thought this might be a good place to "tie him up" and see how much info we could pry out of him before he realized what we were up to
(mischevious grin)
