Not such a great day

RE: Not such a great day

Look closely at the console.....
IT HAD HEATED SEATS!
The buttons are there!

RE: Not such a great day

It's a 1st Gen, so unless it's mine, there are no heated seats.
It's the cig. lighter ...

RE: Not such a great day

I agree with Sandy. The heated seats was the first thing I saw in the interior..

RE: Not such a great day

I hope everyone was ok. It probably was caused by the ceramic heat shield failing when the g1 was switching from super duper mega light speed to super duper ultra mega Jimmy Hendrix psychedelic strobe light speed while racing. We ALL know how fast the g1 is. :p

RE: Not such a great day

It's a Gen II ~ Look at the wheels!! Hey, they're on backwards!! Who want to tell him ??

RE: Not such a great day

Look at the mirrors, they're missing the puddle lamps. Look at the shifter - It's taller that 2nd Gen. And the trim piece around the radio, it has cig. lighter, traction and defrost switches. Only in a 1st Gen car. Still sucks ...

RE: Not such a great day

Definately a Gen 1... side view mirror folks.

Probably that "time warp re-entry" from the typical Gen 1 speed. You know it wasnt a Gen 2. They cant reach a high enough speed to cause that damage.

Poor guy.. since it WAS a Gen 1, insureance probably paid him $850.00 after deductible. But then again... an "accelerant" and a match, and we all can have new cars if our insurance will pay!

All jokes aside.. looks like it WAS in the garage(see background-caddy, etc). They probably just barely got it out into the driveway. You can tell by the funny angle it is parked at. Loose the car, keep the house... good call.

RE: Not such a great day

Stanley, The exhaust on The Evil One looks sweet as candy. I think that I am going with a proven exhaust set-up, that will provide real world gains though. This setup was "proven" that it will make it around the block, and the "real world gains" are two fold. First, It will make a cloud at eye level so whoever you race can't see. Secondly, at 50mph, the exhaust tips turn into torpedo's and wack anything behind them into submission. Not only that, they double as a hair dryer, and a awesome potato cannon.

Here is a spy photo while it was still in development. The engineer, BS, is now famous for this mod. It has been named The Brad Mod:

RE: Not such a great day

SO do you think the insurance company will fix it?

RE: Not such a great day

Talk about being on the hot seat.

I predict it was the headlight switch. Those things have toasted more than a few Marks.
