so i get out of the shower tonight and im craving a chocolate shake from baskin robbins, i decide to run up there a few miles from my house and on the way back, where us 19 and alternate us 19 split a mile from my house i can see on my way back there are so many cop cars ahead, not uncommon on us 19, figure its another famous us 19 accident but as i approach im trying to look through all the red and blue lights and i see some road flare, i'm trying to see how many cars are wrecked and i realize there isnt a single one, then i see the coroners van parked there and as i get up a few more feet there it is, the reason for all the activity, a dead body laying in the middle lane, covered with half a blanket, all i see are pants and sneakers and a blood soaked blanket, ewwwwww nasty, the thing is i didnt see a single vehicle parked anywhere who may have hit this person, i assume they nailed the person and kept going, also not uncommon here. this was only like 3/4 of a mile from my shop. where this happened is also a corner known for homeless guys who sit with signs all day begging for help, and alot of drunks too there is a huge liquor store right where it happend and a strip joint too, i wouldnt be suprised if this person was hammered and trying to cross one road in florida most people with a brain know not to cross on foot. us 19 is one of the deadliest roads in florida and it stretches from st pete all the way up into upper georgia. that was my excitement tonight!!
