I put in the new O2's today. I was casually working on it from 11:50am to 3:30 pm, which includes a lunch break, and cleaning every single tool I used. I was second guessing myself for a while, I didn't know how to go at it first, and I had some trouble lowering the exhaust, but once I figured it out it was fairly easy. This can easily be done in 2 hours now that I know what to expect. I took it for a short spin around the block just to make sure it was running right. I will see if it helped my rough idle tonight.
I now have smoke coming from somewhere around the O2's, as soon as I turned on the car smoke was coming out, Is this the anti-seize stuff burning off? It is coming from both sides where the O2's are located. I tightened up those exhaust bolts pretty good, but I will definitely double-check them.
Any ideas???
Oh yeah, when I had the exhaust disconnected I just had to start her up and get a taste of the potential exhaust sound. It sounded bad ass! After 2 seconds it started surging and bogging so I turned it off.
