It's been my dream to have a well performing quiet exhuast just wouldn't break the bank. Well, it's difficult to have all these qualities in just one place, but I think I accomplished that.
Finally !
Entirely custom, tig welded, mandrel bent exhaust 2.5" from 04 cobra manifolds to a 2-1 Magnaflow muffler, 3" thru the gas tank area to a Y into dual 2.5" pipes to Polished SS Magnaflow 18" mufflers.
[strong]
Cobra manifolds required the steering shaft to be moved over 1/4" - simple 7" extension did the trick.
2.5" downpipes with wideband already in place. You can pull the trans without touching the exhaust.
Huge Magnaflow center muffler plays an equalizer role along with ..

... mandrel bent 3" piping to the Y before the differntial.
Exhaust splits into dual 2.5" pipes and looks like true dual from the back.
More big mufflers with sleeper stock tips.
Apparently this tip was too close to the bumper and burned the paint during those WOTs.
Little bling never hurt anyone !

I should've done this long time ago, as the power output is beyond what I can handle now. Partial throttle acceleration is enough, no need for WOT anymore.
The car is dead quiet on the freeway, that is until you open the throttle plates. The sound is very solid and exotic, zero raspiness, zero drone.
Both my tuner, and the exhaust fabricator feel that this setup is good until 500rwhp, maybe more.
Big thank you to Diamond @ Diamond Fabrication for the grea idea, even better workmanship, and overall a great experience.
But next time I need to leave my car for 3 days, I'm gonna have to buy another mark 8 first LOL !
I'll work on the soundclips when Bart gets off his azz and brings the camcorder over.
Also, a dynosession is on order to take full advantage of all the recent mods.
