Here's a quick update from the Ontario Canada Chapter:
1. Upcoming chapter meeting this Sunday May 4th. Members, prospective members and associate members welcome! Time / location details are listed here http://mark8.org/ontario/meeting050403.htm
2. Anyone who has not RSVP'd for the meeting yet please do so to Neilster or Goalie ASAP.
3. It would be great if folks would voluteer to bring some refreshments like last time. Let us know if you are able to.
4. Web Site update. http://mark8.org/ontario/
a) Added new introduction page with Animated gif "When you think of Lincoln, think..."
b) Added background sound of a wicked MarkVIII at introduction
c) Added links to LOD Merchandise posted under Links and URLS
d) Added new member rides on Member pages
e) Updated summer flyer posted in PDF format, more friendly to non-color printers (Member pages, Download Doc's)
f) Updated Events-New with more Carlisle info and Ford 100 Anniversary info.
5. Business card updates
a) Currently working on templates.
b) With some luck, dues paying members attending the Chapter Meeting will be able to get 50 business cards for free, printed on-site in colour!
6) After meeting activity choices
a) Race re-match at Formula Kartways
b) Relocating to the nearest Hooter's for an adult beverage or two. Most MarkVIII's in one place in Canada. Imagine!
c) Both!
