this is a top fuel hull, but the motor on the back is a pump gas 468 chevy. the motor dynoed at 624 hp plus the baot has a 250 shot of spray in it. the boat has made a pass of 117 mph on the motor, and 133 on the spray, if the boat has anymore mph, matt said he doesnt want to find out after going 133 in it. the only thing that was in the water was the prop! this boat is currently for sale, but thats not why im posting it, i just know there are alot of you who will get a kick out of, you cannot believe the stares and finger pointing we got just going to take pics, he says he hates putting it in the water because everyone stops him at the ramp trying to see it and touch it, like its fake or something lol. it is deffinetly one nasty boat. before eddie hill raced cars, he raced boats, and this hull is the exact same hull eddie hill raced.
I used to work in portland or. I built a 10-71 blown 900 hp/830tq 496 (stroked bow tie block not the junk they sell today)rigged in 21' 1969 sanger pickle it went 112 taching 6500(too many rpm for eng) wrong prop,(only getting 7lbs boost instead of 12 it was dynoed at!) customer blew trailer tire wrapped it and new truck around tree! can't afford to own one (big bucks to put mildly) at least I get to build and ride in. last summer I repaired two big chief 620 cid stellings in a 46 skater cat for race car driver pual tracy.( flame arrestors[air filters] shreded and went through engines) we went 139 gps(first sport boat I ever saw w/A.C. ) had an enclosed canopy with helmets w/headsets built in and personal oxegen tanks for the passengers. I don't want to know how much it cost . I know it was painted in fla. and that cost over 50 grand.(customer was complaining boat movers scratched it bringing it to Lake Havasu Az.) honestly the sanger at 112 felt twice as fast as the skater at 139!
