POWER SEAT PROBLEMS

I bought a wrecked Mark with black interior. The seat tracks of the black seats were completely frozen up. Wouldn't move for anything in the world. The tracks that were on my gray seates all worked great every movement. I switched my seat tracks to the black seats. When I reinstalled them the passenger seat will only front to back and up and down no reclineing at all . The drivers seat went up and down front and back and then all of a sudden pulled all the way forward and will not move. I switched the modules from the old driver seat track to mine. That got the seat moving front to back but it will not do anything else. No up or down or recline. Any help would be great. I pulled what hair I have out for 2 hours tryng to think of what could be wrong. I checked all of the plugs and fuses to assure that I didnt miss anything. Any help would be awsome.

What year Chris? And were they both the same year?

Sounds like an issue with the memory module? I can look at the EVTM and maybe post some helpful diagrams. I believe the '93 is different from the '94-'95 and I'm thinking the '96 and up are different.

My car is a 96 and the seats came out of a 93. I used the tracks from my car and put them on the 93 seats. Everything was good when they came out and crap when they went back into the car. I did get it to recline by jumping the motor to a 12v and a ground. It will work for now but would still like to get it fixed the right way
