I was split as to which subforum to place this in, as it could be one of two things. Anywho, I've had several occasions where backing out of a parking spot without pressing the accelerator pedal the car would die. More specifically when turning the wheel; it's as if the power steering pump puts too much strain on the engine. It will also die if I'm coasting down my driveway in neutral and turn the wheel any. Seems as if it looses oil pressure (light comes on) when it dies.
