Pre-Registration for WFC 8

Here's the e-mail I got from the organizers:

"Sharon, anyone who is buying pre-paid tickets will have to pay including yourself. It's one of our policies and process. As to your deadline question, we would need to know by April 27th how many your going to need and everyone will have to be paid by May 2nd which is a Monday."


So, I will take care of this, but you MUST let me know by April 27 Noon(one week from today) whether you want to be pre-registered on the show field, and you must pay me $70 so I can pay for all of us. I do take Paypal, or contact me to work something out.

I will be attending, and I do believe I will be bringing the Kid, who will show his Mustang.

Remember, if you do not pre-register, you can still attend this event, and show your car, you just would not be parking with the group. If you are racing, no need to pre-register with the group, that is separate registration and all race cars just park in the pits.

Registration fee includes the 4 day pass to the event.

Anyone else? We're coming up to the cut off to register together. This would be a nice way to add a trophy to your collection. ;)

It's a long shot, but what the hey.

If I can't make it, someone else who shows up unannounced can have my pass.

K, I sent the e-mail to reserve our spots, and I will let you guys know how it will work when I find out.

Remember, if you did not sign up to pre-register, you can and should still come to the show!

Yep, pre-registered spots are for you (Jay), JP & Mark and me.

Manuel said he might go on Saturday, but he wasn't going to show his car.

The kid is most likely coming with me, but I don't think he's going to show his car.

JP, I just did my pre-registration with TCCoA. Didn't see you up there? Are you pre-registered?

Also, do we have a LOD banner or anything that were bringing? Maybe we should decide what we want/need there. If were with TCCoA we can use their tent I would assume. I've got coolers if we need some of them. You don't have to fill your trunk that full Sharon.

JP won't be able to make it unfortunately. :(

You know, I have no idea who has the Midwest banner. If someone has it, please let me know. I'll still bring my one cooler, cause I'll be bringing some drinks down with me. What will be nice with the TCCoA is that I should have room to take out all my stuff from the trunk, and then we also will have shade. I'll print up some LOD applications to bring with.

We have banners?!? I sure would like to use one for the meet I announced for here in Florida. Of course, that's if I get a responce from any of the local members. So far, nil! If there is a banner available for May 28, please let me know. I can overnight it back right after. Thanks.

Found this internet cafe to check in.

The wife is supposed to cancel the hotel reservations. She's bummed too. ;(

just found out Mark cancelled his reservation. Guess its just Trixie, her son, and I.

Today was a blast with the TCCOA peoples though. I wonder if Sharon will remember anything though....

Well, I'm home. Came home Saturday night cause the kid has a project he needs to work on for school.

Had a great time, the weather was great!

ummmm....

OK, I was slightly um, buzzed on Friday, and took the camera around. I may have some pics, but who knows. hee hee. There was a cyclone there - 1 of 3 made I believe. I hope Jay takes some pics today, cause I really still don't know how to use our camera. ::wtf::

So it really was a ton of fun. Like the kid said, the car show doesn't compare to Carlisle (although there were some really nice cars there), but watching the drag racing is a blast!

And the TCCoA guys were so welcoming to us, it was nice to be able to hang out with them. I do believe some of them will be at Carlisle, too. Not sure which cars were going, but maybe you'll get a chance to check out that Cyclone in person.

Sharon any clue on the year for the cyclone?

My dad use to own a 69 cyclone cobra jet. Man was it a fast car.
