Proud Mark VII LSC SE owner from Arizona...

Hello everyone! I hope I am not alone here (as in "I'm from Arizona") as there are sure a lot of Lincoln Owners here in Phoenix. I own a 1990 Mark VII LSC SE, and just recently had my first problem. The ABS Brake system, is failing rapidly and I hope that I will be able to get some advise here as to how I can repair my ride before I loose the brakes completely.

back when i use to have my 90 mark vii (converted to 5spd) and made it a black on black se clone i went through 3 abs master cylinders.

priorreman.com sells the whole unit but it is big money

so what i did was yank all that out, cut it out of the wiring harness, install a 90 mustang gt booster, a 86 mustang svo master cylinder, a ford racing proportioning valve and called it a day.

Brakes felt GREAT after that, but if you want to keep your abs try lincolnsonline.com or fordvschevy.com, also if you want more info on ditching the abs and going with a regular mustang setup (cheaper too as it can be had under 100 bucks) check out fordvschevy.com

lol j, did you miss the big paragraph before that? I use to be diehard Mark VII everything...i've been there done that. Just suggesting to him that his brake problem might get a little more action at fvc or lol...not trying to take members away from here, but i probably just opened him up to an entire new world of the mark vii aftermarket from 5spds, superchagers, gtc body kits and the sort. Every mark vii guy i meet i try and get them on that site. It has a nice little following. As far as lol is concerned they have more members dedicated to keeping the system stock and up to par, fvc is more about modifying the cars.

I've been a member to fvc for 4 years probably and have over 10,000 posts, i know my vii's...its the viii's i'm just now learning about...just trying to help the guy out. I wasted a grand or so on the abs system till i ditched it. Anyway, hopefully he'll stick around. I still dig 7's, especially black se's...hell, thats why i have my black lsc now. :D
