Rear Shocks

Like a dummy I recently purchased a pair of rear shocks from Arnott Industries for my 93 MK VIII even after having read the load sensors don't fit.
Well, they don't. Anyone have this problem and a fix? The shocks look exactly the same as original but there must be some slight difference.

Likely talking about the computer controlled shock dampening actuators. That is a '93 only issue. In effect they are not needed. The shocks will work fine without them. Just remove the harness and controller.

i just changed the shocks in my 93, and my buddies pair of 93's. i took the sensors and threw them right in the trash. no need for them, slap on the new shocks and toss the sensors in the trash can!

I've got those actuators on both of my 94's also.

Mine are disconnected and I've even got the Mark VIII shocks that accepts them.

I didn't like the idea of my shocks stiffining up every time I hit my brakes (especially on Michigan roads)

Rear Shocks

Thank you everyone for your information and for correcting me about them not being load sensors. I'm glad to know that driving without them won't hurt anything.

They are actually a cool feature... but they probably didn't work after 50k miles... at this point they are nothing but dead weight.
