I think people do and I for one would certainly like to see more members come to the shows and show off their cars. A car doesn't have to be in show condition, just clean it up, packc a cooler, and come on out and socialize. There are many clubs that bring several cars (especially the ricers) and it's just plain fun seeing all the great cars out there.

I think we need to rejuvenate the NY Chapter.

My LSC is the perfect example of that.
It is clean,but no show car (compared to Moose at least)!
You other guys need to come on out and hang,it is usually a great day.
Dave,John,Pete and all the other NY Marks ??

Hey Guys
Glad to hear you two are doing so well , I have been trying all summer to get together with you guys ,just cant seem to get it done...We have to try again if something comes up . Wife having Knee replacement tomorrow , so that will keep me busy for awhile , also having headers installed in the very near future...Need to clean out garage to put car up for the winter , wow thats my favorite..I need more days in the week..Ill keep trying I would like nothing better than to get together and meet as many of the Islanders as posible...

If I still lived in Bayside I'd be out with you every weekend. We have something going on all year long here in Texas, but I've not found any other Mark VIII owners that want to "show & shine" While it's fun to see all the other cars that turn out, I would much rather be with other Lincolns.

By the way, another thing to consider is that if three or more of a particular model show up most of these shows will create a separate class just for those cars. Imagine! A Mark VIII class!

Lets see if we can hook up for the last Belmont show of the season, not sure of the date, I'm sure Leo knows, I think November.

I grew up near Bay Terrace and spent the better part of my life Racing on Francis Lewis Blvd.

Where did you live ?
