OK, I have set my date.

Saturday, September 17!

Let's say 3ish? However, anyone want to come earlier? If so, I have gears and a shift kit to install. :)

I've got single chicks coming!

If anyone can help turn this into an entire weekend, I'd be appreciated.

But anyway -- Sept. 17 Silly Hat Pary. Silly hats required, eye patches optional.

The shift kit can be done but the gears are going to be more than an afternoon. ;)

I'll get an idea next week on how the 17th looks in my schedule. If it's 2 weeks past Labor day, it may fly.

Hello, I am new to the site. How does one join your club? (Single Guy Looking For Single Chicks) I live fairly close in Elgin.

Purchased my Mark 8 about three weeks ago in Wis. T. Red with Tan interior LSC One owner car with 60,000 miles. The man traded it in for a new GTO...I think I got the better deal Paid $8900.00

JP, you just don't want me to get gears installed. ;-) But we do have a garage, air compressor, yada yada, in case anyone wanted to meet up earlier to do any type of car stuff. Maybe we can do a Sunday trip to the track if people are interested and one of the tracks have test and tune.

We'd love to meet you, it'd be great if you can come to this meet. I'd love to have a huge turnout. I'm inviting LOD, former co-workers, some neighbors, and Hubby was told he could invite friends.

We'll be providing dinner (burgers, dogs) and snacks and drinks, and I'm gonna ask local people to see if they can bring side dishes for dinner.

Sharon I hope you don't mind if the MI crew shows up ?

I spoke with Bill ( new member - you guys met him at Carlisle) and it looks very possible for us to attend.

Hopefully Dave would stop working on that damn boat and visit too.

I'll talk to Justin from Windsor, he might be able to come.

Come on people, let's make this at least as fun as the Cinci meet last year.

I've got a choice to make now if my school schedule will allow me to get away.

There is a Corvette meet in Effingham, IL on that weekend too. Its a long drive to take the corvette to, but it could be fun.

Or if I'm available I could take the Mark out of the garage (now that I have a beater :) ) and drive up to see Sharon.

Hmm... the choices.

Hi Bill - didn't mean to insult anyone -- I've got an old face, too. ;) It'd be great to meet you and see your car. I'm hoping we can get all the Marks to go over to a parking lot about a block from me for some nice pics, too.

If there's anything I can do to help the out-of-towners make it, please just let me know.

I'm going to play it by ear. I probably won't make it though.

I've been traveling for work just about every week, all summer. And my boat was in the shop for 8 weeks with a blowed up motor, just got it back a couple weeks ago. So i may be occupied every weekend until the weather turns south.

Dave... don't you know that you have to toss the C4 outside of the boat to catch any fish... ;( I'm worried about you.

My preference right now is going to Sharon's house with the Mark instead of the corvette meet. That is if I'm available.

You'll have to excuse the 94 tho, I had to bogart the passenger side seat out of my 95 because of a burnt motor/switch assy on the blue seat. I'll be there tho.

Hi Sharon,

The last meet I went to was in 99 at Hooters in Sterling Heights some of the club members from Canada were there as well as a couple of us from Michigan. I live in the Kalamazoo MI area now how far away is that from where we are meeting up at? I would love to come, however I am over miles on the LS so I will be bringing my 95 Cougar I just bought I hope thats no a prob let me know

Jason, it's about 185 miles. Would be shorter if you could cut across the lake. :+ I'm in Buffalo Grove, a Northwest suburb of Chicago.

Hope you can make it. To be honest, I'd rather see your Cougar anyway. }(
