SCP 1 3/4" Headers with 3" collector...

Hey guys, just a simple lil question real quick that I wnted to clear up.
When using the 3" collector, will I need to use a 3" downpipe or can I still use a 2.5" downpipe to the cats ?

And when they say there is an addittional $50 to have the 1 3/4" headers with the 3"collector, is that $50 for both or each...?

Sorry if it sounds retarded, but I think u guys know what I mean...

Jon Jon Jon, finally spending money where it needs to be spent.

I know your dream is to have a supercharger at some point, thus I recommend going with the bigger primaries/collectors. For now you can mate them to your 2.5" exhaust no problem, just have the shop fab up extra step-downs from 3 to 2.5". Are you running stock cats ? I hope not, because that wouldn't make sense.

I believe it's $50 for both tubes upgraded, but why don't you call Bill, he's a super nice guy ...

Yea I talked to him before about his High flow cats... He is a super nice dude. I would go with SCP's 2.5" IN/OUT High flow cats.

I gotta catch up with moddin', everyone is pulling SC's out of their arses. LOL But hey I'm only 18 yrs old, gotta start somewhere. :)

LOL, Eli... I already tried convincing my dad to pitch in and buy ur ride. He says, just save the money and Mod' up your ride... Only way I could buy yours, would be to sell mine... I dunno. Money is tight...

They are talking about both for that price. Once you go to 1 3/4- 2"" collector you need a 3" collector.

i have kooks down tubes now for the 3 inch collector but it steps back down to a 2.5 inch pipe.
