Shooting

RE: Shooting

When i first read about it yesterday it was three in critical condition. Yea, that's pretty low to go and shoot up a freaking day care center. But that's detroit for you.

RE: Shooting

Did you see in Stuff Magazine, I think, that Detroit is the "dirtiest" place to have sex? More likely to catch a disease in Detroit that any other city in the US. What a skank hole...

So is that where I can find you on the weekends? ;)

RE: Shooting

No, you have to head over to canuckistan for the legal hookers.

It wouldn't surprise me that Detroit is the dirtiest place in the US. The place is a shithole. If it weren't for the casinos it would be bankrupt. Anyone with money has been moving out of the city for 30 years. All that's left are poor people. The city is 83% black yet Kwame wants to create "africantown", a business district where only african americans (and possibly other blacks) can do business. Apparently the harder working immigrants are working harder than the detroiters so kwame wants to give them a leg up.

RE: Shooting

You have got to be kidding me, thats insane. You know if say the mayor of Troy, said I want and all white part of town for business, or the mayor of Dearborn said I want a part of town for only arabic business, we would have Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton up here so fast our heads would spin, Just the shooting at Lord and Taylor a couple years back at Fairlaine. They made a huge sharade out of it. Detroit is a you know what hole. Its the worst place in this country to live, and I would personally never live any where near there. My property company bought an old warehouse in Downtown to renovate into Section 42 tax credit rental units, They are going to be destroyed.

RE: Shooting

A few months ago I moved to Harper woods. We're about a mile from actual Detroit, but it's a pretty nice neighborhood, well kept houses, plenty of cops, not much crime. Just due to the proximity to Detroit, if i change my address with my insurance company, my auto insurance will nearly double. I'm moving back to Harrison Township as soon as i can afford to.

RE: Shooting

My parents live off of 10 and Hayes ok area not the best, it was better when I was a kid. Now my brothers 12 and 11 are going to Oakwood then East Detroit. I used to live in St. Clair Shores off of 10 and Jefferson on Lange good priced house and nice area. I heard Harper Woods is not to bad at all. It just amazes me thats all that they blame Detroits decay on people moving out of the city, who would want to live there with all the crime and violence?? xo
