well after looking at and driving a dozen 4 doors my wife said she just wanted her mark VIII back, well obviously she couldnt have hers back its sold and over 1000 miles away now. she has always wanted a green mark with tan interior, so today, i did what any loving husband would do and i went and bought her the mark she always wanted! a 93 deep jewel green mark with mocha interior. its got a moon roof which her 93 didnt have, all the jbl is still in it and working, and a pioneer 6 disc changer in the trunk. 98,000 miles and it is in great condition, after i have my way with it , it will be in awesome condition but its very clean and runs and drives really nice for a 14 year old mark. i have to put a compressor in it though the air ride wont vent so its up high in the rear but this weekend i will fix that. i'll post up some pics in members rides after i do a few things to it and claybar it and wax it, although the paint is awesome i still want to do it. here is a pic, $2,100 out the door!

Emm... shouldn't have sold your old one???

I have a feeling this one won't last for long either, someone is going to realize that a baby seat is annoying to put in the back.

But the mark looks great and I always loved that green :D

I can’t think of what I would replace my 97 with right now. So I am holding on to it.

Good luck on the 93.

I have a baby seat in both my Marks although my baby is almost 4 now. Anyway, its not so bad at all. My wifes last car was a '98 Deville and my last car was a '97 Mercedes S320, we dont miss the four doors all that much but we do have a conversion van for the beach and stuff.

So, is that like a 3 car garage?

The reason I ask is because I now have a single car garage, and have considered building an addition onto the end for another 2 car garage.

max this one isnt going anywhere its what she always wanted, and we already went through the car seat stuff with my daughter, he wont be in a rear facing seat for long so i guess i was the one who was annoyed with the car seat, she doesnt care at all. so if its what she wants she gets!!
and yes it is a 3 car garage, and its still not big enough.

When the kid was little and in a car seat I had a Mustang. The car seat didn't bother me, although a lot of times I'd put it in the front seat (bad, I know now, but that was less distracting than having him in the back). Plus I didn't have a passenger air bag. But still, with the auto glide, I can't see it being that much harder having the car seat in the back.
