What are all those cylinders on front bumper that look like ammo for a grenade launcher? Are they filled with air to burst to lessen impact? Looks like you guys got less room in the front than the Mark does to work with adding things.

All those bubble things are part of the impact strip. It is ment to crush and distribute the force of an impact. Yes this has about the same room in the front as my Mark VIII had. The biggest problem that you may run into when trying to supercharge etc... a crown victoria is that the throttle body is on the left side and not the right. The mustang Gt had the same engine from 97-04 but their throttle body is on the right side. You can use a supercharger for a mustang GT but you must create a custom intake tube and stuff. One thing I have seen done is a whipple supercharger for the 5.4l put on one of these 4.6l and it rocks. Only thing is that the guy cut a hole in the hood to make clearance. I think a certian company is comming out with a 4 inch cowl hood for the crown vic. So in the future that may be an option.
