Hey....someone mentioned me running into Britney Spears down here....well, I almost did. She crashed on my beat, but it was in the evening and I work mornings. Darn, lol.

On a side note....I got a call from one of my beat partners stating he observed 3 Ferrari's on the other side of the freeway racing each other, one Black, one Maroon, and one Yellow. So...I got in position on the right shoulder of US-101 and waited. To my pleasure I saw approximately 10 Red Ferrari's (an old F-40 leading the way) in my mirror so I jumped on the gas and pulled to the right of them and starting from the back I slowly drove by them and looked at the drivers. All of them old geezers, so I notified dispatch that these probably weren't the ones. I looked way back in my mirror and saw some newer ones stuck in traffic so I pulled to the shoulder again and slowed down. Ahhhh ha! A black convertable F-430 like this one....
And a Maroon hard top went flying by....doing the "speed limit" in the fast lane.
I jumped back on and advised dispatch of what I had. I told them I'm going to try to stop them both because no other officers were close. I caught up with the Maroon F430 and hit the lights....he started to yield and I pulled up to the left of him and yelled "EXIT THE FREEWAY AT LAS VIRGINES" over the P/A system. Poor old man knodded okay. I punched the gas and caught up to the black F430 (which was gorgeous with its blacked out tail lights/headlights and bright yellow HUGE calipers) and lit him up and told him to exit at Las Virgines too. He exited and pulled to the right curb. His buddy who was a ways behind, also exited and I waved him to pull over in front of the black one.
I contacted both parties, and the guy in the black F430 said, "I was having a little fun, but I'm not sure how fast I was going", the poor old guy in the maroon F430 said, "I don't know where I'm at, and I'm supposed to be following him!"
When it came down to it, both guys were very cool, as I was with them, and the maroon F430 had current registration AND had his plates on, front and rear. The black F430 was a 2006 and the guy still hadn't put his plates on yet, lol. I gave them both verbal warnings for 23109 VC-exibition of speed and cited the driver of the black F430 for 5200(a) VC-no plates front/rear.
Needless to say, they were all very nice and also very appreciative. Its nice to have the power to stop 2 fast as hell cars, and to have the power to let them off the hook.
Here is a video of them....I was doing some Accident Investigation Follow-up and happend to drive right by where they were meeting, haha. The last two on the right are the two I stopped. Man...they were sooo nice!
OOOOOHHHH....I forgot to tell you guys. I had to run a registration check on the black F430 by VIN to see if it even had plates. Can you believe these guys pay $2,400 bucks a year for registration! DAMN!
