O.K., so I found my dream car (Persephione). So now I find outevery one of the factory JBL speakers are blown, and the 6-disc stock changer is missing a magazine (I discovered this before purchase), if it ever worked in the first place. So what now? Should I just replace all the stock components with new or good used parts, or should I go aftermarket -- and further, if aftermarket, what is recommended?

If you got the cash.... buy new aftermarket stuff you can't go wrong.
I think you would be happier in the end.
