I am curious who will be attending and or racing in this years Southern Super Heavyweight Shootout in Atlanta?
Since I sold my car I don't have one to drive :(
I have made it to the 1st two and will try to make it agin this year as well.
Will Disney hold on to the Big Dawg title?
Will BigAnt step up and take it away?
Will someone else crawl out from the shadows and be crowned champ?
We have some VERY stiff competition from the Impala's.
Last year John R. had his Bad Ass Bowtie running 10 second times there, but succumbed to transmission failure for the 2nd year in a row.
Will Jorge break out the beast and lay down the first 9 second pass?
Will Paul Roswell EVER put a cage in his car and run it out the back door?

These questions and more will be answered Saturday, November 8, 2003 at Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Ga
BE there!

You sold your red car right Bill? What happened with the black one?

Thanks Dave, for posting here. This is a fun event; I attended the first one in Florida several years ago and plan on trying to make this one. Break out your atlases and take a look, Commerce, Georgia is a pretty central location for many more of you folks than you think.

RE: SSHS3 Who will attend this year?

My MK8 & I were there last year, and I'm going to do my best to be there this year.

Last year was the first time I had ever seen a Christmas tree other on TV! My racing was always done on oval tracks, mostly dirt.

The last time I had been to a drag strip they still had a flagman!

But I had fun, got to twist my MK8's tail, and enjoyed meeting the guys that were there.

Sort of disappointed that there were only 3 MK8s there though.
