I am going to join in on the Injected Engineering caravan to the track around lunch time Friday. Aric is hauling Steve's Marauder in the trailer, and Mike and Big Scott will be in GoldBird and the Vette.

lol Wendy is driving the SL up there, but she is going to do some quilt store shopping on the way. I don't think the guys will wait for her while she does her shopping, so she is solo. :) There might be some others that tag along too... :)

I dropped off two coolers full of beer, soda, water at Aric's to put in the trailer, so if anyone gets thirsty at the track, feel free to help yourself! :)
 
BTW JP, I have a 90mm C&L MAF, cone filter, and gen 2 intake tube gathering dust and taking up space in the garage. Can you use it? If not, anyone going to SSHS7 can have it. Just let me know, and I will put it in the trunk... I have the stock 98 air box too. Same deal... :)

We did have the Gieco Lizard stowaway trying to come along from Marvins woods, so i had to take a pic. He hung on for about 10 minutes till we hit 60 MPH or so and decided to jump ship as he was getting too far from home. I guess he felt the temperature change and said screw this i outta here. lol

lol Jeff :) You crack me up man! Tell Marvin to be careful on those WOT 10 minute blasts to 60 mph!!! He needs to save it for the track lol :)

My Nephew called me earlier asking for the MAF. If it will work on his Mustang GT, he said he would take it. He will be at the track tomorrow, and I will ask Aric if will work for him. If it will not do any good, Marvin can have it.

I will call you guys when I get to Commerce tomorrow. :)
 
I will try to be there around 4:00-5:00pm at the latest. Not sure how many now, but Aric has a caravan of people coming up Friday - me included. I told him we should try to get to Commerce around 2pm - check in time, and we can hang out at the Comfort Inn until it is time to go to the Sonic.

I have a couple rooms reserved there, so come on by if you like. I am not sure if he is going to be able to get his rig into the Sonic parking lot, so, they might just go to the track from the hotel. I for sure will be at the Sonic though.

See you tomorrow! Safe travels... :)
 
We'll shoot for arrival at the Comfort Inn around 2-3pm. If we don't see you there, we'll meet up at Sonics. :)

11:27. hitting the sack. Marvin said hed arm wrestle Mike for the MAF. just got back from longhorn steakhouse. Marvin had the waitresses in the palm of his hand as usuall. He's the ladies man, here and when we hit Texas. I was to busy killing that filet and eating my salad to bother. haha Signing out. I'll get more photo ops of the action tommorow when Mikes caravan of groupies get here....;) :D
 
Driller, since everyone is talking smak, and we dont wanna leave you out, make sure your cooling fan is pointing the right way this time. :)
 
Woot! :) lol The Mark felt like a rocket ship on it's one and only run of the night! The carnage was intense, as the track stayed open to 11:30pm to clear the lanes. Good news is... I do not think I saw a single SSHS car there dumping fluids on the track all night.
