I noticed while driving the other day that the car is not downshifting to 1st. Starting off from a stop in 2nd gear. When its dead cold I believe its actually in 1st until it shifts to 2nd then never gets back to 1st again, and I know my internal tranny cooler is actually warming up my transmission fluid at the warmup stages and plan on putting in an external cooler. I've already changed 2 transmissions in 2 other marks I've had, will there be a 3rd in my near future? I plan on changing the fluid and filter soon.
Also, would it help for now to take out my thermostat? I don't like it running so warm its brutally hot here in orlando, and my blend door is broke so no point of having heat at least not in the near future. Let me know your thoughts.
