Hey, take that tool Jeter, that fat bowling ball with legs Zimmer, and the rest of the highest paid TEAM in Baseball and have fun buying another World Series. yeah you guys rock. woo.

Anyone can be a Yankees fan, its easy the usually win. But to be a RedSox fan, it takes Faith, Character and Patience.

Joke:
Joey walked into his second grade class one day and his teacher stood up and said to the class, "I am a Yankees fan, who else is a yankees fan?" All of the littel children, except for Joey, didn't know any better and just followed the teacher and raised their hands. The teacher came over to Little Joey and said, "So Joey, what is your favorite team?" "The Red Sox," replied Joey. The teacher was a little taken aback by this, so she pushed further; "Why do you like the Red Sox?" Joey replied, " Bacuse my parent like them and they are really good, I go to a lot of their games." The teacher was really pissed now and said, "Well, if your mother was retarded and your father was a homosexual, what would that make you?" Joey thought and then replied,

I can't say the Yankees suck cuz they really don't, but let's be honest with ourselves here. If there was a strict salary cap in baseball, the Yankees would be nothing. Imagine Steinbrenner trying to build a championship team without paying 60 million more than every other team....it wouldn't happen.

Yankees fans should thank their lucky stars for Grady Little. Even though the Sox didn't win (because of his idiocy), I will never forget that helpless look on those Yankee fans faces through the 7th inning. They were on the verge of tears. Us Sox fans would never cry. We've been through this before. I'm confident that the new ownership will bring us a World Series title.


P.S. Anyone who believes in a damn curse is a sucker!!!!

i dont know if u guys are aware of this but new york has another highest paid team that currently hasnt won a game yet (may have one win since i last checked) and theyre called the rangers. money cant buy championships; team chemistry does.

I absolutely agree with you. The Red Sox never had team chemistry like they did this year. It was unbeleivable. Anyone who has paid attention to this team knows that they had chemistry. Like I said, I don't believe in curses. Sometimes crazy things happen, but overall, the Yankees have just had better teams than us through the years. This year, the teams were clearly an even match. Just look at their records and stats against each other. I saw the fear in their eyes in game 7. They were given a gift and they should be thankful.

Yeah the Sox lost. The Yankees didn't beat us, Grady Little did. The fantastic bullpen would never have given up 3 runs over the last 5 outs. With any luck Little will be axed for his total lack of common sense. Joe Torre would never have gambled the season on babying the ego of a superstar.

One a happier note THE YANKEES JUST LOST GAME ONE of the world series, at home even, to a team who carries 1/3 of its salary. Youth and speed beats old fat has-been stars. If Steinbrenner hopes to buy another Championship he better take some of the money he spends on hired guns and buy himself some umpires.

Steve's right. Curses are for suckers. But you could smell the choke that was about to come from the Cubs after the fan interference in Game 6.
