Tire Noise??

Roadboss

On Work Release
Looking for some advise. I had a slow leak that the local Wally World plugged, and rebalanced and reinstalled. It was on passanger side rear. I now have a noise that sounds as though I have mudder tires or some funky tread design that they have on trucks. It's that road noise type of thing you hear as a like rumble of rubber. I jacked up the corners and checked my spindles, and its not them. Under power I can not make it get worse by swerving, so I am confident that it not my front spindles. Tires have about 12,000 miles on them since I purchased in July 03. I also replaced brake rotors on the front end and indicated the runout which was within spec on both sides, as well as replaced the upper control arms. The car wqas quite and performed well. I seldom use the Stereo so this noise is now bugging me. I reallly don't want to turn up the tunes to get rid of the noise, but thought maybe some one here had had a similar experience and found out what caused it.

Thanks Guys

RE: Tire Noise??

Well I solved the noise problem. It turned out to be the pass. side front wheel bearing. Replaced both R & L units, and noise is gone. Just in case anyone else thinks they have a tire noise like I had, go for the bearing assemblies, don't forget the new nut is required, and also get yourself a 36 MM socket to remove and put on.
