HE WON STREET STOCK!!

Last week he was the Runner-up (2nd place) THIS WEEK HE WON!

So, 2 weeks in a row he's made it to the final and walked away with a trophy! THATS 2 WEEKS IN A ROW THERES BEEN A LINCOLN IN THE FINAL!!

I'll post up the pic as soon as the track get's it up on their website.

That's great! Congratulations! How many cars are racing? There are so many here that you sit in line for ever between rounds.

JC, I've noticed that around here, too. It's hard to find anytime when you can get a lot of runs in without waiting.

Lonestar is an 1/8 mile in a "small town" so, it doesn't get as busy as Houston Raceway's 1/4 mile.

In Street Stock at Lonestar... most nights we have about 15 cars.
If you add in the "Test and Tune" and "jackpot" cars there's about 30-40 cars on a Friday night.
I can get 12 runs or more there.

Houston Raceway on the other hand... Friday night I can get about 2 runs in before they shut down.

No point in waiting that long to run and only geting 2 passes in the summer. We'll be making a Trip or 2 back out to Housotn Raceway after the weather starts cooling off and it's worth the wait.

Until then, we'll be at Lonestar "racing" not "waiting"! ;)

Tiff, I'd love to go back there! Hmmmm.... one more reason to take a nice little vacation down in Texas. ;-)
