i took these after a storm rolled by and the clouds were a grayish blue and other than the camera thats been dropped twice the pics arent bad. i had no intention on taking them, but i got out of the car to check out the sky and after looking at the car i snapped pics. enjoy!

the consistency of the sand must be totally different down there... I wouldn't be able to drive more then a few feet without getting stuck on any of the beaches around here...
 
yeah the sand is pretty awesome, most of it near the coast line is quite hard and packed down, alot of it looks like sugar, there are spots that are real soft though you have to watch where you drive but for the most part, you can drive along almost all of it. when i moved here and went to the beach for the first time in 2003 we were blown away, the beaches around mass and new hampshire that i grew up around were always full of wood, seaweed, they were dirty, the beaches here you cant even go out on without sunglasses the sand is just too damn bright!
 
The north side beaches here are all rocky etc, but the south side beaches are quite nice, but the sand is so soft... it's hard not to get stuck just putting the front tire on the sand...
