Track Time for my 93

RE: Track Time for my 93

Those are good. For stock I got 15.07 but it was also a hot 96 degree day. I think I can get mine in the 14.7s when it gets colder.

RE: Track Time for my 93

For those interested, I went to the track last Friday:
......................................................

Air temp started in the 80s and fell to 70s during the last run of 15.006

I launched off idle and rolled on the gas. I did not punch it. My tires are not the best, 225-60-16 from Pep Boys.

I've had the car for a year and a half and it's got 140,000 on it. I want to do a gear install.

Michael

Very good times for 140,000 miles and especially if it's still basically stock. One more run and you'd have been in 14's (LOL). SO close....just slightly better 60 ft times, maybe a 1500 rpm pre-load, new plugs, who knows? But you are close, hang in there and have fun.

RE: Track Time for my 93

I noticed Famoso on the time slip. Where do you live? My GF's son is from Kingsburg and he used to run a Black Hilborn Injected Dodge dart on alcohol, and won the Summit E.T. series track championship in the sportsman class in 2001. We ended up with the car, which BTW is identical to our car, so now we have both. Do you run at Famoso regularly?
