Air fuel gauges are cool, but not all that accurate. To get an accurate setup you're looking at nearly a grand ($329 for a wideband o2 sensor from NAPA, and another $550 for the controller, display, and assorted parts to install it). The regular ones will tell you whether you're rich or lean, though, and most of the time, that's all you really need.

That trans temp gauge might be a nice thing to have though. I'd probably hate to see how hot my trans gets sometimes though :).

RE: Trans Temp and Air Fuel Gauges Installed

I won't tell you that because they are Nordskog.

RE: Trans Temp and Air Fuel Gauges Installed

As always; I appreciate your well wishes Petey :)

Pete-

Here is the story.

Nordskog has been in the marine business for 30 years.
Cyberdyne has been doing automotive for a longer period of time than Nordskog.
Nordskog offers a lifetime warranty on the gauges I purchased.
They are two seperate companies.
A gentleman from Cyberdyne left to start a company called Intellitronix (spelling)years ago.
Nordskog purchased Intellitronix (spelling) three years ago.

There you have it. Two seperate companies.

well i hope for you that the quality and accuracy is better with Nord. cause on my first mark the cyberdyne digi gauges wherent even in the ballpaRK of being accurate

RE: Trans Temp and Air Fuel Gauges Installed

The hottest it has reached on a 77 degree day when I was on it pretty hard was 205. On a 60-65 degree day cruisning on the expressway it is about 165 - 175.

RE: Trans Temp and Air Fuel Gauges Installed

Manual gauges.. the FP wasnt even in the ballpark and the temp gauge was 15 degrees off
