A few weeks back I was at the Pittsburgh International Auto Show. One of the gems at the Lincoln display was the last of the Lincoln Town Car.

Today, I found this at the local FLM dealer...

It now sits in my driveway. :D

I'll post more in the Member's Rides forum. :)

I swear, y'all are gonna cause me to fry my laptop because of the DROOL before the day is over. First, the pics of the supercharged collectors edition, and now this! Now, I'll admit that I've never really been a fan of the Towncars, but I must say, I WANT NOW!!!

Edit: Except the Towncars are front wheel drive, aren't they? Ehh, it's still sexy and I would buy it in a heartbeat if I had that kind of money to spare. lol

So you now have a Mr Driller and a Mrs Driller edition Townies

LOL, nah we 'upgraded' and traded in the blue 2002 Town Car. I deliver it to them tomorrow.

I like the wheels on the '02 better than the '06, but the new ones are 17" where the old ones are 16". :frown:

No way you found another black towncar ;)

I used to see em a bit more often though. I love Towncars!!!

I love looking at the back ones, but I've always told myself to never OWN one!!! I know me and my clean-up scheduling!!!

JP, you TRACKED that car from the show to your dealer's showroom!!!!

I used to say the same. But truthfully, after having the black Harley truck, I've found myself keeping it cleaner than my previous truck since it shows dirt so easily.

So, will we see this new Townie at Carlisle?

Beautiful and generously appointed car. I've had two panther platform cars ('00 Grand Marquis and a '03 Marauder) and really enjoyed them both, especially on highway trips. I could do 800 miles a day and get out none to worse for wear. Congrats on the find.
