want a little more bang out of my exhaust

I have a '95 base and want to eliminate the 3rd cat or resonator or whatever it is and put either an x-pipe in or straight pipes so I have true duals. What's the best x-pipe for the buck and who sells it? I live in illinois near chicago so I have to pass emissions. will this fail me? Any advice from the mark viii gurus would be appreciated. I'm in school and don't want to spend a whole lot of money. Also my cats are smelling a little eggy after juicin' it. How much for new ones? Wish i could bang 'em out! Thanks.

I have Dan's system with an extra x-pipe, and really cool mufflers.

Hopefully we can arrange a small get together in the Chicago area soon, and you can take a look at it. I did pass emissions with it.

Sounds good to me. As long as Im not forkin' over too much dough. A chicago are meet would be awesome. Im new to this forum and Mark VIIIs so I dont know to many Chicago mark owners. But i now a good amount of ford boys! i hope they'd be welcome.
