Good news, just confirmed, we've got row IG at Carlisle, any closer to the stands and we'd be in them!

Nice, I hope this does not mean I will have to clean my mark once I get there. I hope there is a vendor that provides a quick detail service there.

hey! that's fantastic! Good to know I won't be participating in the Mark VIII "Hill Climb" event. And this may answer another question I had. I was contemplating trying to pick up some sort of small canopy for shade. It looks like one is provided? While I'm at it, what's the stance on beer on the grounds. I guess I expected to be bringing some, but wanted to be sure it's allowed? (grounds? camping only?) I'm taking requests! Wisconsin makes some darn good beer. We'll see you guys soon! The girlfriend and I plan to hit the road Monday evening! I feel like I'm hardly prepared!

Mike, I don't know about the camp grounds, but the rule on the fairgrounds from what I read is no glass bottles. I asked Hubby, we have a ton of plastic cups which hopefully we'll remember to bring. ;) If you have any local beers, I'd love to try them.

Yes, the club will have a big tent, but do bring lawn chairs and probably sun screen. Have a safe drive and see you hopefully on Thursday at the brewery!

While I have actually seen beer kegs at the fairgrounds, Carlisle does promote these shows as a family event. But definitely no glass bottles.

Families of what? Furries?

"zie goggles! They do nothing!" -or- "hey! that's my cousin!"
I wonder where one would find the wicked-awesome pin-on tail like the one on the right has...

This could be an interesting challenge. Most of the stuff I was planning to bring comes exclusively in bottles. Time to get creative! Good thing I've procrastinated so much I don't have anything yet! And Sharon, you'd better believe I'll be at the brewery tour. wouldn't miss that for anything!

wow, that's seven (7!) exclamation points. Getting a bit antsy, perhaps? I think so.

Oh, everything I drink is in bottles, I just transfer it discreetly to plastic cups.

Aah, this changes everything. I'll see if I can come up with some Cheese Curds also. I hear they're tough to find out east. :)

I think as long as your not tossing bottles at cars, or people, or people in cars, you'll be fine.

There was a year when I brought 100 bottles of beer, and by Sunday, it was all you could drink for anyone who signed up and paid for membership upfront.

GOING TO CARLISLE 2008

Really, I wonder how many people were members that year just to get more than $20 in booze?

As I remember it, we signed up at least a handful of people... :D

Thank you so much for all your hard work getting us off the mountain, Leo!!! This will be so much more fun! We won't be parked too far away from Brad in the SVTOA part, either
