WFC 8 - Pre-registration

I got the go-ahead from WFC8 for us to pre-register so we can park together.

Please post here, ASAP, whether or not you want to pre-register with us for this event. I will e-mail the info to WFC 8. Thanks!

If you choose not to pre-register, you can still register at the event, you just would not be parking with the group (most likely).

What if I pre-register and then can't make it? Is it transferable?

Got this response:

"All entries must be in by the third week of April. Secondly, all payments for pre-paid spots must be paid by May 1st."

So it looks like we'd pre-pay for a # of spots, and it thus could be transferrable.

JP, if you're racing, then you won't be parking with the group anyway. The parking would be for show cars only. I think you pay at the gate for racing. Correct me if I'm wrong Sharon.

By the way, just to let everyone know, I may not be able to make it. I'd rather not get into why.

Yeah, I know. :(

I'd most likely be one of the slower cars anyways if I raced! So maybe it'd just be better to sit in the parking look with the hood up and 'look' fast! ;)

Yes, this pre-registration would be to show the cars. I don't know about registration to race, that info is on the website, but racers park in the pits so there's no assigned spots.

JP, I think it's bracket racing, if you are interested. And you don't have to pick your time, they do it based on your fastest run IIRC.
