WFC6 car show pics (dial-up warning)

WFC was a blast as always! This year the car show featured almost 400 cars. Here's just a few that I found interesting (sorry if some of the pics seem a little fuzzy or washed out, my digital camcorder doesn't take the best stills):

'67 GTA (w/390 ci engine)

'68 GT350

An interesting Fox body vert. I hate the wing, but otherwise I really like the totally black look.

'66 Cobra (replica I believe)

'71 (?) Mach 1

'69 Boss 302. One of my dream cars.

GT-40. Probably a replica, it was for sale for the "low" price of $85,000!

A couple for you Sandy ;) '86 McClaren Capri. Nice!

An unconventional way of showing your truck (yes, he's from Missouri - you should have seen the size of his belt buckle :) ).

My favorite out of any car there. 1993 Mustang GT. 26,7xx miles, 100% original. Factory tires, battery, belt, EVERYTHING. You never see them like this anymore! The pics don't do it justice, this car was showroom new. The owner was selling it, wanting $13,000. I wish I had the money and the space.

The only Mark VIII in the show (mine!):

Yep, I won best in class ('90-'03 fullsize) :) This class was pretty small, in fact I may have been the only one in it. I was pretty surprised to hear I got 1st, I entered the show for good parking and to show off the Mark VIII (there were only two in the show last year, so I figured what the heck). But, hey, now I can say my car is an award winner. How cool is that? All you show folks out there, come to WFC next year. The show is so heavy with Mustangs that the other classes are ripe for the picking :)

RE: WFC6 car show pics (dial-up warning)

Congrats Tony! It's feels great to win.

RE: WFC6 car show pics (dial-up warning)

Tony, you should have let me know, I would've helped you represent the Lincolns. Way to go on the trophy though. Congrats!

RE: WFC6 car show pics (dial-up warning)

Congratulations Tony! Great pics, and yes, that GT-40 most surely is a replica at that price, probably a South African built car.

RE: WFC6 car show pics (dial-up warning)

Tony, Congrats!!! (and) THANKS for the pic of the ascMcLaren. Tony, It's a "EuroCoupe" model (lower priced, some equipment omitted). It's 1 of just 47 made, only for model year 1986. Interesting car, looks to be very good cond. Did you talk to the owner? I'm sure he/she knows me, and we've probably spoken. EuroCoupes have no striping on them, and they all have orange wheels, and lack production # badges on the dash. It looks stock, too. Nice.

RE: WFC6 car show pics (dial-up warning)

Thanks for the kind words, all.

Jay, I thought you would have known about WFC, it's been held at Gateway for the past four years. I parked among the T-Birds with the guys from TCCoA, and a good time was had by all (hehe, like this: [link:http://www.markviii.org/~tonymueller/50mustang/wfc_burnout.wmv|funny burnout vid] - 1.8meg ). Maybe next year we can team up and represent the Lincolns.

Sandy, I didn't get a chance to speak with the owner of the ascMcClaren. But you're right on the money, they had a big sign up in front of the car later that gave the info on the car. (The pic didn't turn out so great so I didn't post it.) 1986 McClaren Euro Coupe, #19 of 47 (14 Oxford white, 9 automatic transmission). It was a very, very clean car.

'Ya, I know the guy. Talked to him recently. I gave him those numbers. He's going to a bunch of shows this season in the area. You'll probably run into it again. Wrong stereo, otherwise original.
Was $880.00 less originally than a "F.P." one {Full Packaged}.... Very rare to still be "alive" ~ most have met trees!!
