Ok guys, here's the skinny on the hotel for WFC7. As in the past, we'll again be at the Drury Pear Tree Inn in Collinsville, IL. For those who've never been there, it's only 10 minutes from the track.
We have plenty of rooms reserved for Thursday-Sunday. The price is $62.99 per night for a double room. You can call 800-325-0720 to make your reservations. Just tell them the dates, the hotel and that you're with the "Thunderbird Club".
Please note that they will only hold the block til 30 days prior to the event. So April 14th or so is the last day to get a room in this block for sure.

Anyone else interested? Hubby says I need to make sure others are going to be there - he can't come with me, and neither can the kid, and due to my medical condition he doesn't want me to be alone.

your so close to the track if your facing the track when you puke the track staff will have to suspend racing while they clean the track. car show is located on the left side of the strip just about at the 1000' mark

Your hotel reservations need to be booked by tomorrow if you will be staying with all the LOD members.
The group rate is $89.99, a $50 savings over the normal amount. The rest of the information is higher up in this thread.

I'm planning on going down on Thursday, so I have time to relax and stuff.
What I understand is we will park on the show field. The TCCoA gets to park together, but I bet if we all head out together in the morning to go to the show we can do it too. We can try to save a spot for you for Friday Mark, if you think you'll be down in time for the show on Friday.
