Like many others I'm sure, I was working on the cars today and ran into a need for parts. More often than running into town to the parts store (who never seem to have what I need anyways), I simply go online and order it.
I believe Summit Racing has a direct pipeline to my house. I can order something (in the morning) and more than likely it will be sitting on the porch the next evening when I get home. Awesome!
Today, I decided to install the FR500s on the Town Car (just because). For the life of me I couldn't find chrome lug nuts to fit (1/2 x 20) that weren't blue or rusted. (I know I'll eventually find them in the garage somewhere, but for now to finish the job I used a set of older scuffed up blue ones from the Blue Flame.)
I ordered a set of black chrome lug nuts from Summit.
Now I'm fairly certain I could've found a set of plain chrome ones at Advance Auto or some other store in town, but no way was I going to find any black chrome ones.
So, what did you buy from Summit today?
