What is with people???

I went with mom to the store tonight to help her pick up some wiper blades for her caravan, on the way home she decided she wanted to stop at the grocery store and get something for supper, other than the fact that its raining there isn't anything to complain about except for some old lady in a early 90's Caddy that couldn't figure out how to park (she hit a truck in front of her like 3 or 4 times before she finally gave up). Anyway, we get through the store and when we get out to moms van we put the grocerys in the back and get ready to get in. mom backed up so i could put the hatch down while she was folding her umbrella meanwhile this really big lady waddles up behind mom and almost knocks her over, mom turned around and said "oh i'm sorry i didn't see you" as the lady proceeds to push her way through. she squeezes between our van and her concorde and somehow managed to get in mom saw she had her hands full and couldn't quite reach the door so she politely pulls it to her, not shutting it just making it so the lady could reach it. this ticked her off...she grabbed the door from mom and slammed it back open calling mom a b!t(h mom lightly tapped on her window and said that wasn't necessary that she was only trying to help. anyway to make a long story short in a matter of a few seconds she slammed her car door into the side of our van chipping the paint on the trim and threatened to call the cops on US! she even started to get out of her car and come after mom who had jumped in our car and locked her door as i got out and went around to see what her problem was, she jumped back in her car started it and slammed it in reverse almost hitting an old lady that was walking behind her. all this comotion over mom just trying to help her out! this is the second time since christmas someone has been so nasty to us after we were only trying to be nice to them. Why? In a time when people should start being nicer to one another and start actually getting along are people actually getting meaner and crappier?

sorry for the story i just had to blow off some steam people just drive me insane!

Cut off their valve stems

Previous remedys:
Ball-Peen Hammer to their door, just one nice tap...
Slicing their transmission lines

Small hammer in trunk.....I "Put Out" BOTH taillamps! But, I have only done it once!! Lady opened her door BAM into the side of Winkin' ~ I was lucky, itdid not make a dent as it hit the side moulding. I spoke Up and said, "Hey, why'd ya hit my car?" She said, "F.U. I didn;t ht your car! (BIG lie). Busto popOO tailight! Ummmm, I think there was 1 other time, too.

I used to have a sign I displayed on my ascMcLarens that said,
You can feel my wife, just don't touch my car
(All in good humor, mind you)

LOL SANDY!!! that is straight mean... i would take a brick... break a couple of windows of that lady... and take off... if she did the same to me as story described above.

I agree with Sandy, I'd have done some damage to the fat broad's car. I'm thinking a good kick to a fender, or yeah, "drop" a brick on it...something. Just reading the story pissed me off. People suck.

No, you see, think about it. I am not mean, I fight meanness with sence. I would never permanently damage someone's car. Busting a w'shield would/could cause water leaks. Damaging sheet metal would be cause for re-paint that would more than likely never match again. BUT by busting the taillamp lens (2 - both sides) the "fix" is easy, unscrew old & fit in new. Thusly, the offender has the inconvenience & the cost factor, but the vehicle is not ruined. (Sign of a true-blue car lover)! The object being to inconveniece the owner, add expense to the owner, but not ruin the car, after all it was NOT the car's fault, it was the owner's fault! BTW, a set of taillamp lens today for many cars is well over $300.00, yet nicely below the insurance deductable level.

Did the car do anything to your car? No, the damn owner did. Don't F with the car when it's not its fault that its owner is a jackass. Pull out your baseball bat or very large flashlight and hit the fat broad in the back a few times, make some smartass comment about her obvious weight problem, and walk away.

PHYSICAL ADUSE, SHE CAN'T HAVE SEX NO MORE, VERBAL & PHYSICAL ABUSE. No, jd, not in these times!! She'll wind up with my house & CARS. I'd have to complete the job and murder her when there were no witness around. Difficult to do. Pop 'em taillights more better! That red lens is thin, pops quietly, little mess, no fuss!

you're right... the car is not at fault... hurting the car is just wrong... reading the story got me a little mad though ! now i'm thinking take her groceries... and if there is anything liquid or sticky poor it all over her... haha!

I can't believe you can't come up with some really innovative paybacks. Ask that guy from Raleigh, he has some inventive ideas that will not end in jail time.

thanks for all the great ideas! i don't think i'd have a problem finding her car...its a dark purple older model concorde with the front end damaged from her obvious lack of driving ability (as well as her squeaky/worn out shocks from her being over weight :p) in hind sight i wish i would have kicked it as she was backing out or something but I didn't...of course if I was to see it again and she was nowhere to be seen i don't see where letting the air out of her tires would hurt anything...maybe just slicing the valve stems or something...i don't want to do anything expensive if anything at all...people like her really aren't worth my time anymore...
