Where to find used short blocks

my pops and i are finally gonna get started working on the vette (68 L88) and hes been scouring ebay for some short blocks but has only come across brand new overpriced stuff. he has mitchel/hardcore blocks in mind aluminum preferably. we're going high hp all the way here. hes thinking either over 600ci for a big block or over 400ci for a small block, both to be bored out big time. im hoping for the small block so we can put a gale banks twin turbo setup on and really have some fun.

we just need to know where we can get this stuff for a decent price. he says if anything he can send off whatever we get to be built. lemme know if there are any publications out there for swapping parts or any good websites.
