These are actually easier than that. The best proceedure is: Turn the ignition on, turn the wipers on, turn the ignition off when the wipers reach a high spot on the windshield. Take a piece of masking or similar tape and mark where the blade has stopped. Then lift the blade away from the glass. If you look closely, down at the pivot point you will see a small tab protruding from the bottom of the arm. Move this tab out as far as it will go. A small common screwdriver works well as a tool for this. Let the blade move back toward the glass. You will see it is locked in a position a few inches off of the glass. Rock the arm away and then to the glass a few times, and it will be off in your hands. TO REINSTALL; If you marked the glass properly, you know exactly where to put the arm back on the pivot. Push the end of the arm onto the pivot, Raise the blade away from the glass, push the tab back under the arm and relase the blade. Remove the tape, and you're done.
