I have front strut/airbags and rear air bags from my 95 Mark VIII. The fronts are "rebuilt". They worked fine when I converted to coil springs, but they have been sitting in my shed for about ten years, so I can't make any promises as to how well they will work now. I have all 4 solenoids...

Selling my 95, been sitting a few years, doesn't run, valve spring broke,valve dropped into cylinder. I wanted to fix it, probably never will. As much as I truly miss this car, i just haven't had the time or money. Located in Massachusetts.

What else should I do while I have the engine out? I will check out all the hard to reach stuff, IAC, oil filter adapter gasket, oil pan. Is that oil pan gasket reuseable? The one on there is about 2 years old, and cost me about $30. Should I ditch the EGR? I miss that car badly!

are the prices of Mark VIIIs going up???

I know most here prefer to pull the motor from under the car...what are the pros and cons of both ways? Not sure which way to do it yet.

I've been looking at engines for my 1995. Seems noone is bidding on the Ebay ones. On car-part.com, they seem to be running between $200+$500. Are 93 thru 95 the same, then the IMRC changed in 1996, and the intake in 1997?

My car is finally getting towed home! Time to start taking it apart and checking the damage (broken valve spring). I will be bugging you guys for help soon. I miss that car so bad.

May be a dumb question, but, can I take one cylinder head off without taking the intake off? Haven't had much time to work on the car lately, or even figure out what side is the problem. I know someone once mentioned zip tying the cam gears to the chain to make sure they go back together right...
