Less than 3 weeks to go. We need to start setting some of the details in place. Eli will check on the hotel arrangements while Ryan is working on the Saturday 'work' location.

I think at least one 'meal' date should be set, Saturday morning/afternoon or Sunday.

I can reserve as many rooms as we need. Like I said before, the only problem with the discount is that we need 10 or more rooms. I don't think we'll have that many people. I am just going to reserve eight rooms at the regular rate.

Depending upon whether people want to go to the car show... we could go for a little cruise and stop at one of the local state parks and have a cookout. After the holiday winds down I will give Bill a call again and see if Apton's is willing to let us play in there lot.

About the cruise.... we could go to a number of state parks in the area: Big Bone, Gen Butler, East Fork, AJ Jolly or Lake Brookville. For those bringing the kids this would be a good time for the kids. I know Brookville and East Fork have swimming. All have campgrounds, picnic areas and playgrounds. If this is an option everyone likes I can arrange to have my gas grill transported to the park. I'm sure between Joe and myself we could volunteer a kitchen or two if someone wants to prepare a side dish or two.

my kitchen sucks but you guys feel free to use it if you want. I have a F150 I can haul stuff around in. I don't have to drive a mark VIII.. Ryan you've got mail.

By the way, do we have a hotel picked out yet? I don't care if we get a discount or not, I'd just like to get a room reserved and know that most of us will be staying there.

Where’s Traino... he should get in on this... and Sharon you can tell hubby I’ll go golfing with him, but he needs to know that I’m extraordinarily bad at it, and there is a better then average chance I’ll be drunk. Plus I’ll require a putter and a driver (although in a pinch I can use the bat I keep in my trunk), I only play with two clubs, the others never seem to make any difference for me and I hate lugging around all that crap...

Hubby may not come, I think he's very disappointed at the lack of golf fanatics in the midwest, but the kid might come instead.

Oh, no gears for me at this meet... :-(

Rene, come on out - even though we'll be racing, we always appreciate a show car, and I doubt everyone going is going to race. Have your hubby bring the Lightning.
