    SC'd Mark Runs Warm/Hot

Flushed the system yesterday and refilled with straight water and burped. Ran much cooler than before. Today was the big advancement. Notice there was only 3-6 degrees of timing at 60mph. Copy and pasted borderline knock table to maximum allowed spark table. Not only did it run cooler but my...

    SC'd Mark Runs Warm/Hot

My IATs are higher due to no cooler. I run meth injection. Typically pull 30-50 degrees out of the air charge. It is not uncommon to hit 150-170 IATs in stop and go city traffic when fully heat soaked. At cruise ... about 10-15 over ambient once it has stabilized.

    SC'd Mark Runs Warm/Hot

I raised the back of the hood with 1" washers and pulled the cowl/hood gasket. Drive for over an hour and data logged the whole time breaking into a couple of groups. Ambient was 73-75. Drive in a variety of conditions, freeway, highway, city stop and go, with and without AC. Made a couple of...

    SC'd Mark Runs Warm/Hot

Was hoping you would chime in. I am at that point... can't get enough heat out of the engine compartment.... I think? Can't believe that everything is the same and as soon as I went with a rebuilt motor with a bit higher compression it has pushed me over the top. I think the heat soak is what...

    SC'd Mark Runs Warm/Hot

The head cooling mod fitting/hose re-enters after the inline thermostat and goes into the radiator. Using the lower hose from a GT mustang. I still have the "bleed hose" from the top of the radiator going back to the bottle. It comes off of the top of the passenger side radiator tank. I have...

    SC'd Mark Runs Warm/Hot

Had a 160 stat in it as a trial.. didnt make a difference. I had an electric pump in for a while that pumped some serious water. If you look real hard at the one pic you can see a flush T by the alternator. Hooked a hose to it and ran to the degass bottle. It looked like you turned the garden...

    SC'd Mark Runs Warm/Hot

"...exceeded quota for images by 17kb ..." I wanted to post my Borderline Spark Table. I did dump all of the timing below boost back to "factory specs" with the same thought John. At cruise speeds maybe i am asking too much.. LOL. Even if i drive like a nice "person" and stay out of boost she...

    94 mark 8 tuning question

For what it is worth I went from 3.27 to 4.10 on my 98 and it shifts in time with no issue. I do not have a jmod. Again mine is a 98 and has slightly different internals compared to earlier models from what I have read. Hope this helps..

    Fuel pump hat help

I dropped the tank on my 98 to put in the new AEM pump for the SC going in. All is good i trimed the hat so it fits flat. The problem is the pump nipple is too tall compared to the other one. Where do I get a hump connector that is taller on one side? It seems like the other port is a return...

I want a better fuel system

It looks like you have a 98. What is the point of adding the regulator? You have a higher flow pump and only slightly going up in injector size. From there shouldn't the tuner be able to dial the injectors in, so to speak? Not shooting holes at the plan but trying to understand.
