I have 255/50-16's on my Mark. They are a Falken ZE512 model. Got them at the local Discount Tire almost three years. I forget the mileage right off hand, but they have at least 25,000 on them. They were only about $90 apiece when I bought them.
I have no rubbing or clearance issues whatsoever...
Before I switched over to HID's, I did remove the internal "bucket" from the stock lenses. I used a Dremel with an extension on it to get inside the housing. It took some time and patience, but I got it cut down into small enough pieces to get them out of the housing.
Next I installed PIA 9005...
I just recently had the identical thing happen to my 96. I found the mast and nylon belt on "a popular online auction" site. I just looked and the one that I got is there and it's $13.95 buy-it-now price.

I wonder what happened over there. I just posted a question about the post being deleted, or did I just overlook it. THAT post was deleted within 5 minutes!!!
Did we upset someone with this interest?

I'm in for one of these wings. I would gladly pay the $500 for one, if we can just get them built! Yeah, I know, $325 would be a better price, but whatever it takes to get them built, let's get it done.
With one on my Mark, to show off to others here in town, there might be one or two more...
