Hello! Where is the factory Gen 1 HID ballast mounted, does it use the same bracket as Gen 2? I can't find any info online, that would be great if someone may have a photo. Thanks!

Thanks, first owner of my Town Car was actually Catalina wine mixer type of guy, he never registered it and used it only on his private property somewere around Pebble Beach :) Unfortunately he passed away one year after he bought the car and left it for the family with only 700 miles.

The blue Mark VIII wasn't that nice when I bought it. I found it on Copart auction in Austin, TX for $700. My friend from San Antionio towed it home and helped me to fix it. Too bad the rear glass was still OK in the auction pictures and when he came there to pick it up it was already broken :(

Yes, I've done it this way before in my previous Mark VIII, but it took me a long time to align the bumper cover later (especially bumper cover to headlamps spacing). That's why I thought that it may be a better idea to drill those rivets?

Hi! I have to remove front bumper in my LSC and I'd like to reinstall it in the right way :) Do you know the part number of nylon rivets (3 on each side) that attach bumper cover to the black bracket? I found N803043-S for the Gen 1 is it the same rivet as for Gen 2? Thanks in advance for help!

Thank for sharing your experience! It was pretty easy and fast, the bubbles are from the air getting around bleeder threads. Brake pedal feels perfect now :)
