WWDC is a big azz mess if anything. Too many rules, too much police, too many cars, not enough fun. Last year for example, we had a great drifting competition Downtown on the cruise weekend. The event was packed, and nobody missed the "parking lot" ;)

But sure, we can do it pretty much any time.

The Downriver Cruise in June is much better than Woodward in my opinion, with less traffic and free parking. We usually get a few of us together for this one.

I can understand dealing with some of the traffic, in one hand it's allot of fun but in the other it can get annoying.

Woodward is on my bucket list so I was trying to do two things at once. I need to start planning my summer now and with work being slow I don't know if I can do Carlisle and the power tour, but I think I will end up going to IA/WI for the last part since that is very close to me. I would really like to meet you guys and make at least one LOD meet so MI is a bit more doable.


You MI guys should come here during Back to the 50s weekend, 12000 64 and older cars at the fair grounds, so it's fairly organized. That's in late June as well (I'll even let you drive the T :) ).

If you do go to the Woodward cruise be sure to let us know, we have local meets all the time. :)


If we have a big Michigan meet this year, I'd be glad to volunteer my house for one of the days. :wave:

The sun is starting to peek out and the weather is getting better. Anyone have an idea when we can get a group together?... Just sayin! :thumbsup:

Actually that would work really well for me, and I could just drive down Woodward Ave at 3am so I can say I did it.

Not going to make it, not that I would not love to go, but just an observation, you may want to start a new thread and title it 2014 :D

As far as WW Dream Cruise friday is the night to be there. Still lots of cars and you can actually cruise. Unlike Saturday where you move few feet an hour.
