May as well keep this one! Thread title edited for clarity

A slight flaw has been introduced into my own participation in that a friend has scheduled a wedding on that date. (and I just got the invitation!) I have to "feel out" just how important my attendance to this one is. I'm not "out" just yet..

Hard for me to commit as I'm unsure what my work schedule is. So I guess that's a maybe at best.

Is camping an option?
Sure!

I wonder if Chicago has an "anti drone" ordinance yet.

I plan to be there also. I don't think we ever did hit that auto museum that's just north of you, although I kind of assume you've been there.. Any good? Something like that, Social time at your place, and brewery somewhere, and I'll be content.

Tenting is OK and probably will be more comfortable. Chicago is a hotbed of breweries although most are in the city. I will research brewery options. The car museum is an option so I will verify if they will be open that weekend.

The Volo auto museum http://www.volocars.com/ I open till 5pm and is 15$. Might be a good trip on Friday or Saturday. Probably not the best thing to do Saturday. The have expanded it way beyond just cars.

There are a few brew pubs near us. One is very close although their beer is not well known, but it is good. ht. Ther eis also tps://emmettsbrewingco.com/. Ther eis also http://halfdaybrewing.com/ . Both are about 10minute drives. There are many big name breweries in the city.

I feel like I really missed out for not being around when Steve "partied all the parties"

Of the two breweries you posted, I think I like the look of Emmett's a bit better. not to say we can't hit up both. And if your "local unknown" is yet a third option, I smell the beginnings of a tour...

The Kid and Marge, they're optional, as am I :fart: and yes, Steve was um... quite the bachelor in the day.

Has anyone contacted Strapp, or Manny or anyone else who's local?
