I'm still in but I have been super busy at work lately with my latest promotion. I will be there but need to have my head on straight (no hangover) to start running production at work at 2:30 PM on Sunday. It is in my best interest not to drink and pass out on Mike's couch but I appreciate the offer Mr. Martin. I just have to make sure I don't hit any deer on the way out and Frosty has a lot of bark so I promise not to scar up the road when leaving but perhaps you could point me in the direction of that environmentalist nutjob blogger and I could leave him a little smoke show. LOL just kidding

Being from Mass, I care deeply about the environment (although I don't like to be 'in it') and I felt the way you left last year was criminally harmful... :p
I'm not sure the air quality around Mike's house has even recovered... so many tire related hydrocarbons released into atmosphere... :p

you can drink. Just don't go crazy.
Oh, no... please, go crazy... :D :D :D

I have just the idea for this. ;)

This is the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion pepper that my buddy freshly plucked and gave to me on Saturday. Who wants to see me eat it whole at Mike's? :D I will be bringing a gallon of milk. My buddy might come along too and record the event. Anyone else is welcome to make a video of the chaos if they like.

I made a video awhile back when I previously consumed the bhut jolokia pepper formerly the hottest and went through 3/4 of a gallon of milk that time. This pepper is significantly hotter. A habanero rates 350,000 scoville heat units and this pepper is 2 million.

See everyone Saturday.

I like where this is going.. Even if it is just two Mikes watching Kirk eat a Pepper....

J, you know you and Margaret are always welcome, but it is a long drive. I would not fault you for passing until next time. If you come, you'll have a place to sleep. Of that I assure you.

Hey Guys, just wondering what time is a good time to show up? :confused-red:
I'd say Saturday sometime.. :D It's not looking like much of a turnout, so we'll be very flexible. If you want to stop up but have a schedule to maintain, I'll be sure to maintain it.

I just got off the phone with Sharon, and demanded that Beerdog drag Mark along as well, so I'm sure that'll happen.. I plan to call Mike (beerdog) tomorrow to discuss further. Mike, the number you have for me, is the right one. I just couldn't get to it when you called tonight.

I had a blue 93 Mark VIII follow me into Macdonalds in andover. Mike has Two Mark's. One for him and one for his wife. After a long talk he said he might come to the party on saturday. That was pretty cool to run into another Mark VIII car guy. See all saturday, Mark

Awesome. If anyone needs the directions or and address, please ask!

Edit: Or those of you who know it, feel free to provide it as necessary. I'm just hesitant to post it publicly.

Please do stop out. The whole family is welcome, of course.

I spoke with FastMark last night, and he'll be there for sure, possibly with his new friend in the blue mark. I've also gotten affirmatives from Beerdog, Kirk, and now Chad.

This shouldn't be too bad at all.

Is there anyone I missed? Any lurkers? I encouraged a couple non-mark-owning friends to show up as well. If they do, we'll have a '37 Ford pickup street rod, and a mostly stock '76 Triumph spitfire to look at also.

I'm assuming people will start showing up early-to-mid afternoon on Saturday, but since Beerdog will be here already, just swing on in whenever you want.

The weather is looking agreeable enough.

Ha! And that's nothing! Check out my trip to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area a couple weeks back.

The area is almost more water than land, so you occasionally just get out of the boat, carry it to the next lake, and keep going.
We covered pretty much the area here. Beginning just above Ham lake, and ending at Round lake. (top of the map) The red lines basically outline the portages. All told, I hiked about 3.8 miles over rough terrain, while carrying a 20' canoe on my head. It was a fantastic trip.

I haven't had time to plan one, but I would be receptive if folks are interested. Either north, or south along the St Croix may give us some fall color still, with a cafe or two to visit along the way.
