Top photo from left to right, Mike (beerdog) myself Kirk (KStromberg) Luke (slowmarkviii) and Mark (fastmark) showing us his rotunda air suspension diagnostic tool that he scored cheap on ebay.

In the bottom picture I am showing fastmark why cobra fuel rails are a better fit for the car as it is clearly seen that on my car the fuel pressure testing valve on the rails is pretty much inaccessible. (not a clean DLF swap by a long shot) I still have the Cobra rails in a box and will likely live with it the way it is.

And yes, I am probably going to lose the looms that I just put on yesterday. They're really not growing on me and I think Luke was right when he says it looks "too busy".

Trixie, as Mikey stated the flathead cigar was FANTASTIC. It was a great flavor and probably the longest smoke I have ever had out of a quality cigar. Including some intermission time in between when the cigar went out for about 10 minutes and briefly became just a prop, I would say it was about a 2 hour experience.

Great time and lots of chatter as always. And I just want to say that Mike (tixer) makes some BOMB spinach dip which included some variety of tasty goodness that included water chestnuts. :D

And on that note, I'm off to bed.

More photos.

First, as promised, Bob Anderson's '37 Ford. I'm glad he stopped out.

He's had this truck for over 50 years.

Don't let the valve cover deceive you.. That there's a Chevy..

DSC06460.jpg

He just had the whole thing repainted, with some custom air-brush work on the tailgate.

That's the one-room school he went to as a kid. The bedliner is removable, he made it himself.

DSC06463.jpg

He's recently added power windows, Air Conditioning, and a custom wood floor in the cab.

More photos to come, but for now, Mike and I are going out to get breakfast.

For some reason, I quit taking photos after we decided that the Aquavit tasting was a good idea...

All in all, a great little meet. We had 8 Marks two Town Cars, and the '37. A huge thanks to each and every one of you for stopping by, and making this a great afternoon. We finally wrapped things up by 3am or so. An early night, by LOD standards, but we made the most of it. :) As always, good times, and good conversations were had. I'm lucky to be a part of this group. Thanks again for all who attended in person and followed along here on the forum.

Sorry I couldn't make it this time. Looks like a good time, as per usual. But did you not see my request to keep Hubby an extra day? He would have been happy locked in your basement if you got tired of him.

Apparently and this is important regarding the Flatheads, he forgot to leave the punch (instead of a cutter), which is shaped like a valve stem, which you really need to use on those cigars. Another cute item we got to give away as I have 2.... (Yes, I got a lot of free stuff based on the fact I'm in a car club and said I'd love to share it with the club at meets.)

Sorry I showed up so late and left shortly after but considering I was having hallucinations on the way home I would say I was tired. :) Thanks for the drinks and the dip! I'll try to plan more accordingly next time.
