I'd love a nice black on black 90-92 SE but I doubt I'll ever get one. I have enough toys already and I'm actively searching for my 4th '89 Probe GT turbo to finish off the fleet.

My Mom had an '88 LSC when I was 17/18, I had a lot of fun in that car. Used to love the look on peoples faces when a Lincoln came sideways through an intersection :D

I've always been fascinated by the diesel Mark VII, and a limited edition to boot! I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more on that one.
If I can stop buying cars, I just may put it back on the road. It actually runs, it's just butt ugly in it's current state. It's 'supposed' to look like this,

... but doesn't.
I'm headed to York, PA via Chicago Tuesday afternoon. Tell me where the keys are, and I'll hook you up. :D :D
Wow. I'm VERY late reading this else I would have organized a cruise around your visit. From Primos, PA to York, PA is only an 85 mile cruise.

Anytime that anyone (enthusiastic to Lincolns) visits Pennsylvania, you've got to let me know at oldschool1@TheLincolnMarkVIIClub.org and we'll hook up.

Next time, my friend. I was visiting York (and surrounding area) for the purposes of visiting the (model) Train Collector Association's York train meet. So that cruise would have consisted of you, and then my buddy and I in his minivan, with his two screaming kids in the back seat. (Who, to their credit, probably would have been yelling things like "go faster!" and "pass them!")

It wasn't exactly the most relaxing of vacations. :)

Desirable Cruises

Mike,
It's cool.
Just yesterday (20130504), we cruised about 105 miles from Philadelphia, PA to Wilkes-Barre, PA for breakfast. There were two Lincoln Mark VIIs and a Challenger. The guy with the Challenger also owns two Mark VIIs but we wanted to see the new car ... so he brought it.

The Challenger is such a TANK... It makes the Mark look like a Focus! LOL

I do love the style of it even though I'm a diehard Ford guy. I just think it's a bit of a pig and the Mustang is by far the best car all around in it's class. I'd still take a Tuxedo Black 2010-2012 SHO over any of them though ;)

That was my Uncle Jerry (2ManyMarks).

The convertable that I want is still in someone else's garage in Chicago.
Jerry's Vert is now sitting in my driveway waiting for a renovation. I am driving it every day now and I brought it to our last Lunch in Central Mass. Ask Joe, he saw it.
I will be driving that to Carlisle .. and if it is warm, with the top down and the wind in my hair.... wait a min, I forgot, I have no hair left. :eek-large:

I have had my 8 for just over 2 weeks now. While I'm warming up to it, it isn't in my blood stream like my 7. Hands down, my 7 stands as my favorite car I have ever owned. I have owned three 7s ("Mine" 1988), and 2 1990 Special Editions. While the SE's were cool looking, my 88 was.... I don't know how to explain it. I plan on getting another one. I want another 88 or 89 and then I will make it into an SE clone. It will be a turbo charged beast!:big-grin:
