Mike, thanks for the kudos. I have been busy, which means life is good. Life is never good when I am not busy and unemployed like I was. I have just over 2 years on the job now and still retain my position as production supervisor on 2nd shift at the plant. It has had its ups and downs and has definitely been a learning experience for me.

The presence of Mr. Badsax is requested here as well. :D

Mike, you say anyone else? I'm working on getting a few more peeps in the know about this event over on the Minnesota Mark8 page on the social network.

Lastly, I cannot guarantee a completely silent exit this time around. :eek:

Funny Mike, our parties seem to sync up every year. :D I'll be having my Thunderbird meet at my house quite possibly the same weekend. I have to admit your party does look like more fun through! But as always, how can you not have a good time drinking, eating and BSing with fellow car people. LOL Here's to both of us having a successful event. :thumbsup:

I will, even though I was only graced with T-Birds last year. Hope I have some Mark love this time!

Well it must be a popular weekend since the SCCOA also has their annual event that I regularly attend the same weekend in KY.

Hmm. If I'm ready by then maybe that's a better bet. The more I think about it, the test day I want to go to is $69 to race which I think is going to be the limiting factor for potential interest from the Markfest crowd. Although, I am borderline aroused at the fact of seeing that many Mark8s show up at the racetrack. Honestly, I think it would be the only time in history that has ever happened at that track.

I've updated the top post with something of a consolidation of ideas from within this thread. What do we think? What am I missing?

Are you missing Hubby and I? Granted he was 1/2 asleep when I asked for confirmation, but the plan is to be there. That's about as far as we got with the plan. There is no plan for which car, or when we leave or anything else, but I did get what appeared to be a confirmation that we'll be showing up and crashing at Casa De Tixer. Remember I like apples, and have some killer apple pie recipes.

ooh! I can't believe I didn't consider Oktoberfest.. There's at least three places nearby that could very likely be celebrating that weekend....
